A day in the life in the Indigo home is not always simple, but meaningful. EACH woman contributes to the rhythm of the house- cooking, chores, reflection, and services toward/for our community. Our chore sheet isn’t about rules it’s about shared care and, learning to REBUILD structure, peace, and purpose together.

“Little by little we build a structured, clean and beautiful life”

Here is an example of a daily chore/task sheet the women will be held accountable for daily duties. They’re also mandatory things not listed as well that our women must follow to keep a clean/sober successful woman’s recovery home.

A cleaning checklist with tasks organized by days of the week and different rooms in the house. It includes tasks like sweeping, washing, dusting, and decluttering, with specific chores for kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom, half entry, and rest day.

More about
our “home”

This home was reestablished by a mother who witnessed the painful impact of addiction/alcoholism within her own family- both her daughter and son struggled with these diseases’; she saw the devastation extend to family and friends who lost their daughters/sons as well. Deeply moved by these experiences, and aware of how mental illness affects so many families, she was determined to create a place of safety, healing, and renewal.
